Objective

IIVOSMA - Objective

01.

Providing VHE students with international experiences to enhance their analytical thinking, leadership capabilities, and international networking skills

02.

Providing VHE students with learning in collaboration with industry, based on the perspective of the new future of works, workforce, and workplace. 

03.

Implementing ‘Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka’ (MBKM) program (emancipated learning), in which students may take opportunities to learn beyond their campus and any field of studies to gain real-life experience in study and industrial practices. This experience will strengthen and enrich the field of study they are taking at their home institution.

Learning in Collaboration with Industry

01.

Industrial Experience Program
program that is heavily based on industrial experiences such as internships, practical works, etc.

02.

Conventional learning + Industrial experiences
A combination of learning-in-class program and industrial experiences (e.g. short-term internship, industrial case study, visit to industry)

03.

Conventional learning with industrial focus
A program that is mainly based on learning-in-class program, the content of which is mainly industrial-related (e.g. teaching by industrial practitioners)

Specific Criteria of
Overseas Partner
Universities/Institutions

01. Organizing courses (learning in collaboration with industry) for the awardees

  • The program takes 4-6 months (one semester) with the option:
  1. Industrial Experience Program
  2. Conventional learning + Industrial experiences
  3. Conventional learning with industrial focus
  • Students can learn any subject of their interest.
  • The practical activities should support the subjects they learn, preferably their field of study

02. Providing letter of acceptance, academic transcripts, and certificates :

The host university should also prepare progress report of students (in the classroom & industry) 

03. Providing enrollment requirements

  • Minimum GPA (if applicable)
  • English/International Language proficiency
  • Any Application Procedures

04. No other selection process conducted by host universities/institutions

  • Host universities agree to accept  the awardees selected by IIVOSMA based on the  selection criteria provided by host university
  • No additional selection process by host university

05. Agreeing to do partnerships

  • Host university logo to be put  on IIVOSMA website
  • Host University to recommend accommodation for IIVOSMA students
